Networking

Having opportunities to share and learn from others undertaking efforts to improve health equity is invaluable. Here are some valuable resources for connecting with others,

Diversity Rx
This web resource, dedicated to improving the quality of health care for minority, immigrant, and ethnically diverse communities, provides two networking opportunities:

1) The Your Voice initiative allows people in the field of cultural competence to network, collaborate, and learn from each other using web 2.0 and virtual learning tools.

2) The CLAS-talk listserv is an email disucssion group where participants can raise issues, ask questions, share information, and network with each other around topics related to the design, delivery, and evaluation of culturally and linguistically appropriate services in health care.
